Free Women’s Mindful Movement Workshops
Thursday 3pm- 4pm on Zoom
“Somatic dance and creative movement” Through imagery and imagination we find ease and fluidity in dancing. In these sessions you will be given specific tasks and ideas that will guide you into new ways of dancing, moving and connecting to your body. There is no right or wrong and you are invited to be as active or as gentle in the movement as you want. We finish the session with writing or drawing so do have some paper and pens or art materials with you.
Cardiff Women’s Aid are a specialist agency which works to end violence against women, and support those who have experienced it. These classes are open to all women, but are especially suitable if you have experienced domestic abuse, controlling and coercive behaviour, sexual violence/abuse, sexual harassment or assault, stalking, forced marriage, “honour-based” violence, or any other form of violence against women. You do not need to have used our services before to attend these classes.
