Women’s Wellbeing Café (online)

Our online Wellbeing Café, which has been set up to help us all dedicate that little bit more time to ourselves and self-care, is now live!
You can drop in to our Zoom sessions for just a few moments if you can’t stay for long, or come for the whole two hours, it’s completely up to you. We will be having a quick break between the two hours. This gives the volunteers a chance to change, and you a moment to take a break, to leave or to join as you wish!
We run two sessions a week: Wednesdays from 8 – 10pm and Fridays from 3 – 5pm. In our Wellbeing Café, we will be discussing how we can all schedule a little bit more self-care into our lives, looking at engaging with technology positively, seeking out new/old interests and challenging ourselves healthily to do more for us, among other wellbeing themes. There are new discussion topics every week, but these are only a guide, as these sessions are for you to use them as you want. This is a virtual space for women to come together and take some time out for ourselves, because we all deserve it.

Cardiff Women’s Aid are a specialist agency which works to end violence against women, and support those who have experienced it. Our sessions are open to all women, but are especially suitable if you have experienced domestic abuse, controlling and coercive behaviour, sexual violence/abuse, sexual harassment or assault, stalking, forced marriage, “honour-based” violence, or any other form of violence against women.
