Free Women’s Creative Writing Workshops
Your skill level doesn’t matter. Whether you write regularly, sometimes journal, or never write anything except a shopping list – not important. If you’re interested in expressing yourself, getting creative and experimenting with words and more, this class is for you.
You don’t need to have tried any creative writing before: the class is suitable for complete beginners, and everyone will have a chance to try out new techniques and multimedia ideas. Join our online class to enhance your creativity and learn new skills in a fun, supportive, safe environment.
This is a free course for women and is held every Wednesday 1.30-3.30pm on Zoom. The course is run by Alix, a Cardiff-based artist, writer and performer, who also runs our art workshops (Wednesdays 10.30am-12.30pm).
Cardiff Women’s Aid are a specialist agency which works to end violence against women, and support those who have experienced it. These classes are open to all women, but are especially suitable if you have experienced domestic abuse, controlling and coercive behaviour, sexual violence/abuse, sexual harassment or assault, stalking, forced marriage, “honour-based” violence, or any other form of violence against women. You do not need to have used our services before to attend these classes.
Once you have signed up for this workshop, you will be added to our mailing list. Please feel free to unsubscribe at any point by emailing us on SHOUT@cardiffwomensaid.org.uk
